A New Luminescent Cd(II) Compound for the Reversible Sensing of Nitrobenzene

摘要
A new Cd(II) coordination polymer, namely {[(CH3)(2)NH2][Cd(BTC)(H2O)]}(n) (1, H3BTC = 1,3,5-benzenetricaboxylic acid), has been hydrothermally synthesized by combination of Cd(NO3)(2) and H3BTC. Single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis reveals that compound 1 features a 3D anionic open framework balanced by the dimethylamine cations. Topological analysis reveals that it can be simplified into a (3,6)-connected rutile (rtl) network with the Schlafli symbol of {4.6(2)}(2){4(2).6(10).8(3)}. Moreover, compound 1 emits intense luminescence at room temperature and displays reversible sensing for nitrobenzene.
