摘要
The plural "you will see" in John 1:51 shows that the saying was not originally part of the Nathanael story. "You will see" also makes it unlikely that the Son of Man was the new Jacob. Joachim Jeremias's defence of the view that the Son of Man was the stone Jacob set up and anointed at Bethel is likely to be right. The stone became the altar in the Temple. Out of the stone came manna. "Ben Adam" was "Eben Dam".
