Two unique chloro-pregnane steroids have been isolated from the eastern Pacific octocoral Carijoa multiflora and their structures and stereochemistries were determined on the basis of spectral studies and molecular mechanics calculations. (C) 2003 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
