摘要
Along with the economic globalization, the competition within the Chinese hotel industry becomes increasing fierce. Thus, it is the key to improve core competitiveness of the Chinese hotel industry. As the core of the hotel industry, human resources management and performance management have been widely promoted. However, there are still many problems in the implementation of performance management. In this paper, the author firstly discusses the existing problems of the performance management in Chinese hotels, and then puts forward several strategies to improve the performance management in the hotel industry from the perspective of setting up correct concepts in performance management, making right performance plans, choosing scientific performance assessment methods, establishing a practical performance assessment indicator system, strengthening performance communication, perfecting the performance incentive mechanism, strengthening performance feedback work, and paying attention to build corporate culture, etc.
