When Teaching Innovation Awakens Vocations. Effects of Collaborative Learning in University Students of Organizational Communication

摘要
The University of the 21st century is committed to promoting the employability of its students and for this promotes the development of professional skills and social skills. Through teaching innovation and active methodologies, it is possible to motivate and train the student in good work. This responsibility is indispensable in the professional exercise of the organizational communication, a specialty characterized by building communication and trust bridges between the organization and its stakeholders. This paper has a double objective, on the one hand, to systematize the experiences derived from the Teaching Innovation Project "Become a donor" which, based on collaborative learning, involves students in creating a transmedia awareness campaign to attract young blood donors. And on the other hand, the impact on the learning of the participants (n=80) and the evolution of their work interests are analyzed. To achieve these objectives, participant observation, interview and survey are used. This study demonstrates the possibilities of collaborative learning through projects to consolidate content, simulate professional practice and awaken vocations.
