摘要
A theory of high-speed cutting regimes involved in turning of materials has been developed. According to this theory, the cut layer and the blade are considered as acoustic resonators coupled via a nonlinear contact stiffness and excited by the lowest antisymmetric Lamb mode. The turning process is described in terms of a parametric oscillatory system. Using the proposed theory, it is possible to determine optimum turning regimes. (C) 2005 Pleiades Publishing, Inc.
