摘要
This work was conducted in a greenhouse to evaluate the effects of four seeding depths (0, 2, 4 and 6 cm), four compacting pressures (0, 100, 200 and 300 g/cm(2)) and two soil types (heavy clay red-yellow latosol of Vicosa and sandy clay red-yellow latosol of Patrocinio) on emergency of Brachiaria brizantha cv, marandu. A faster emergency and higher dry matter weight of aerial part and leaf area were verified at depths 0 and 2 cm, in both studied soils. The increasing in soil compacting pressure promoted decreasing in the dry matter weight of roots in all the depths of studied seeding. Higher compacting effect was verified in the depths of 0 and 2 cm in the sandy clay red-yellow Iatosol of Patrocinio where decreasing of dry matter weight of roots and aerial part was verified, as well as in the leaf area. The best growth was obtained on red-yellow latosol of the Vicosa region.
