Secure Communication Protocol for Mobile Wireless Sensor Networks

A secure communication protocol for mobile wireless sensor network is proposed in this work. One major goal has been designing energy efficient communication protocol having security strength. The proposed protocol is lightweight although secure. The concept of regular expression is exploited to achieve secure communication. The protocol is also hierarchical and this design philosophy contributes towards energy efficiency. Moreover, the cluster organizations are such that the mobility of the cluster members or the sensor nodes can be monitored and subsequently be handled. The protocol is simulated for its performance evaluation and the simulation results reported here. Future scope of the work is outlined.
