摘要：
The low-spin iron(II) ion in the title compound, [Fe(C12H12N2)(3)](ClO4)(2)center dot C12H12N2, possesses an octahedral geometry formed by three bidentate 5,5'-dimethyl-2,2'bipyridyl ligands. An uncoordinated ligand and two perchlorate anions are also present in the crystal structure.
