摘要
Nanostructured rare earth zirconates are considered to be the most promising top materials for ultra-high temperature thermal barrier coatings. In this communication, the ultra-high temperature thermal barrier coatings using as-synthesized nanostructured La-2(Zr0.75Ce0.25)(2)O-7 feedstocks were deposited and the study is firstly focused on the nano-grains construction in nanostructured La-2(Zr0.75Ce0.25)(2)O-7 coatings with the aid of scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM) analysis. Results show that the nanograins in as-sprayed La-2(Zr0.75Ce0.25)(2)O-7 coatings comprise non-molten nanostructured feedstocks and columnar nanocrystalline with [222] preferential orientation in splats.
