High temperature wear behavior of plasma spray coating in Co-based alloy

摘要
Tribological behaviors of plasma sprayed coating layers in Go-based alloy were investigated as a function of working distnce, gun power, and gas flow. Surface roughness, microhardness, and wear volume were measured for different plasma spraying conditons. Wear tests and hardness measurement were carried out as a function of temperature. The cross section of wear tracks was observed, using microscopy. On the bases of experimental results wear mechanism of plasma spray coating layers in Co-based alloy was discussed depending on temperature.
