In this paper, we deal with the problem of ordinal sum construction for t-norms on subintervals of a given bounded lattice L to obtain a t-norm on L without any additional requirements. Some illustrative examples are added to emphasize the difference of our method from some existing methods in the literature. Finally, we generalize our construction method to ensure its applicability for a greater number of t-norms on the subintervals. (C) 2019 Elsevier Inc. All rights reserved.
