The presented article seeks to understand their role in strategic management, especially at the implementation phase, and to identify the main aspects of their importance. The article is a summary of the approaches of dozens of contemporary authors in the field of strategic management on the background of the book Strategy: Process, Content, Context written by Bob de Wit.
