摘要
Employees are the key element of each organization and the ultimate maker of any strategic change. The presented article seeks to understand their role in strategic management, especially at the implementation phase, and to identify the main aspects of their importance. The article is a summary of the approaches of dozens of contemporary authors in the field of strategic management on the background of the book Strategy: Process, Content, Context written by Bob de Wit. The results confirmed that in most cases only revolutionary or evolutionary strategic changes cannot be chosen. Strategic management must always be a combination that suits a given firm's size, structure and corporate culture. The contribution of the work is the confirmation of the key importance of employees during strategy implementation and definition of the main principles of of their importance in relation to the character of the company.
