摘要
Many kinds of structures about the resonance effects of electromagnetically induced transparency-like (EIT-like) or Fano-like have been widely proposed. However, these structures typically have single-function of EIT-like or Fano-like, and are difficult to achieve both functions simultaneously. Herein, we proposed a simple metamaterial structure, which consisted of a metallic split ring embedded into the corner of square metallic ring to realize the combined functions of both EIT-like and Fano-like resonance at terahertz frequency. The EIT-like effect has the large transmission of 85.90% at 0.674 THz, and the Fano-like effect has the narrow bandwidth of 0.144 THz and high Q factor of 123. We explored the fundamental physical mechanisms by analyzing the transmission spectrum and near-field distributions. And we also found that the two resonance effects are both related to relative position of the square ring resonator and split ring resonator. We believe that our work will be beneficial to other researchers in their research and design and have many potential applications.
