摘要
Mechanical milling effects on the formation of nanocrystalline Mg2Si through solid-state reaction were investigated. The results indicate that mechanical milling lowers the, formation temperature to similar to280 degreesC. Correspondingly the reaction process is found to change into two sub-processes whose activation energies are much smaller than that of the original one. (C) 2003 Acta Materialia Inc.
