Seronegative myasthenia gravis and the prevalence of musk antibody positive myasthenia gravis

摘要：

Myasthenia gravis is recognised worldwide and over 80% of cases with generalised weakness have antibodies to acetylcholine receptors. Antibodies to another neuromuscular junction protein, muscle specific kinase, MuSK, are present in some of the remaining 20% of patients but the proportion appears variable in different studies from Europe and Japan. Here we summarise the results from over 27 different countries that suggest that there is likely to be an environmental influence.
