摘要
Computational effort, complexity and storage may constitute limitations for performing data acquisition and real-time simulation to support the operation of electrical power systems. Some techniques and simulations necessary to obtain the power system state depend on calculations for obtaining the inverse of the admittance matrix. Matrix inversion of large power networks in real-time requires big computational effort and storage, and sometimes become unfeasible for real-time applications. Considering power systems with busbars splitting and coupling possibilities, the admittance matrix dimension changes, becoming bigger the computational effort and memory. In this paper a modification in the Woodbury Formula is proposed, resulting in just one storage in the inverse admittance matrix; being updated to obtain the new inverse matrix of the network even with different dimensions. Results show that the proposed technique reduce the computational cost, complexity, and memory storage necessity to obtain the matrix inversion, proving to be an alternative for real-time simulations.
