摘要
The control of three-phase voltage source converters (VSCs) has been by and large achieved using pulse width modulation (PWM) methods. In this aspect, space vector modulation (SVM) is the most popular technique within the research field. This paper deals with a novel PWM algorithm that computes the duty cycles using an analytical model of the VSC, and including the degree of freedom of the system. The proposal could be considered as a generalised scheme of SVM approach, and it is also capable of operates either in continuous or discontinuous modes. Optimisation of the degree of freedom to achieve the minimal flux harmonic distortion factor is also analysed. A comparative evaluation is carried out to demonstrate the viability and potential of the proposal.
