Modification of Masson pine unbleached groundwood pulp by laccase treatment

摘要
The masson pine unbleached groundwood pulp (GP) was treated with laccase NS 51002 and NS 51003 together with a mediator, and then bleached with hydrogen peroxide (H2O2). Results showed that the laccase NS 51003 could improve the brightness and strength properties, and the treated pulp had a better bleachability. After it was bleached with H2O2, the treated pulp had higher brightness and better strength properties than the control. NS 51002 laccase/mediator system could slightly improve the strength properties and bleachability of the treated pulp, but it reduced the brightness of the unbleached pulp greatly, and it finally reduced the brightness of bleached pulp. Therefore laccase NS 51002 did not avail the modification of masson pine unbleached GP.
