Transformational Leadership and Employee Creativity: the Mediating Role of Feedback-Seeking Behavior

摘要
Although an increasing number of studies have shown that transformational leadership is related to employee creativity, it is not clear concerning the mechanism of transformational leadership's effect on employee creativity. Given this, we hypothesized the mediating role of feedback-seeking behavior on the relationship between transformational leadership and employee creativity. Using hierarchical regression analysis, we collected data from a sample of 417 employees to examine the hypothesized relationships. Results indicated that feedback-seeking behavior mediated the relationship between transformational leadership and employee creativity. Theoretical and practical implications are discussed.
