摘要：

An overview on Digital Video Broadcasting-Handheld (DVB-H) standard with respect to structure, features, technology, performance, and resources is given. DVB-H offers small portable devices with mobile television and other broadcasting services that has a good quality on its audio and video streaming. DVB-H also requires that the access to services should be available within indoor and outdoor locations and even in mobile while moving in a vehicle. The main goal of DVB-H is to deliver mobile television for large audiences in a certain area. The access to a variety of information in real time are allowed for the subscribers as broadband notifications are sent to them according to their preferences. The initial phase of the specification of this IP Datacast system has been finalized while further enhancements when its second phase is released.
