摘要：

The neutron deficient At-199 nucleus has been studied in the Lu-175+Si-28 reaction at E-b = 141 MeV. In order tu select events of interest in the presence of the very strong background caused by fission. gamma-rays have been detected in coincidence with recoiling evaporation residues. The excited states of At-199 observed for the first time may indicate that tills nucleus is deformed.
