摘要：

The publication deals with the problems of historical and psychological analysis of the criminal personality typologies in the pre-revolutionary and Soviet periods. The article reveals the research of Russian scientists in this important field. At all times, the Russian state has reliably protected public order and public security with criminal law measures, effectively countering crime, qualitatively ensuring the tranquility of citizens and society.
