Research on What Role Knowledge Management Plays in the Enterprise's Core Competence

The knowledge-based economy era profoundly affected the direction and competitive advantage of the development of the modern enterprise. More and more enterprises turn their competitiveness from the possession of resources into information and knowledge. In this paper, starting with the relationship between knowledge management and the core competitiveness of the enterprises, then introduces the relevant theory of knowledge management and core competence at the beginning, discusses the relationship between knowledge management and enterprise's core competence, and finally, answers the question about "what role knowledge management plays in the formation and promotion of the enterprise's core competitiveness." The main results of this study are: (1) Discussing the formation of core competitiveness of enterprises in the knowledge management process; (2) Proposing specific implementation strategies of enhancing the core competitiveness based on knowledge management.
