摘要:
This paper presents a prototype computer-based system, EXPERKIDS, for teaching children basic concepts for accident prevention. EXPERKIDS is an hybrid knowledge-based system (objects and rules) which facilitates the evolution and the adaptation of the various components of the system. The components implement tutoring and learning strategies.founded on various scenarios. These scenarios are deployed within programs organized by a non-profit association, Piensa PRIMERO, for which one of the main functions is to teach young children concepts accident prevention concepts. EXPERKIDS is currently being implemented and tested as a pilot program.
