摘要
In the slowmotion of a spherical particle along a wall, a cavity in the form of a non-spherical bubble is detected visually in the narrow particle-wall clearance. The nondimensional parameters associated with cavity formation are formulated and the effect of these parameters on the particle motion is investigated.
