Superconducting critical temperature via a nonperturbative calculation of the vertex function

摘要
The basic idea of the gauge technique is used for a nonperturbative study of the vertex correction effects on the BCS formula for the superconducting critical temperature. Qualitative agreement with recent perturbative predictions is found, supporting the effectiveness of the approach. Nevertheless, some questions arise about the validity limit of the BCS pairing model which stimulate further deeper investigations. [S0163-1829(99)04402-1].
