In the last five years, more than half of the contributions have been made regarding the involvement of the digital economy in higher education. This circumstance derives mainly from advances in research as a result of the development of technologies. This work aims to analyze trends in higher education as a result of the economics of digital processes and thus define the issues that give rise to the greatest interest in this field of research.
