摘要：
The change from classical reliability analysis to modem reliability analysis is discussed. It is discussed if MTBF is to day a misleading and obsolete reliability measure. Alternative measures are proposed. It is shown that the exponential distribution is often not suitable where modem reliability analysis has to focus on early failures, weak populations and wear out. Examples are given on analyzing three cases using the Weibull distribution.
