摘要
This research investigates the electromechanical characteristics of a single-phase squirrel cage induction motor due to a broken rotor bar, static, and dynamic rotor eccentricity. Numerical analysis is performed. by solving the nonlinear time-stepping finite-element equation coupled with the magnetic field equation, circuit equation, and. mechanical equation of motion. This research presents the characteristic frequency of the rotor vibration generated by each fault condition. It shows that each fault source can be distinctively identified by observing the variation of the corresponding characteristic frequency of the rotor vibration, even in the existence of several fault sources together.
