摘要
We propose the elaboration of a new function that will help the firms in making decisions, during the stage of testing the market, as far as a new product is concerned, especially an industrial one, where the risk of a failure is a big one. We propose to take into consideration the corporal and non-corporal characteristics of the product, such as: the price, the services attached to selling the product (transportation, installation, guarantee period, spare parts, payment facilities, etc.), because these characteristics can influence the competitive level of a new product. We propose the utilization of the model in the stage of testing the market, and depending on the recorded level of competitiveness of the new product, to take a decision like launching the new production the market, delaying the launching, improving those characteristics that need it or even renouncing at that certain product.
