摘要
Composites based on phenolics have high thermostability. The properties of composites depend on the integration of the heterogeneous materials which occurs at the phase boundaries between the polymeric matrix and the fillers, which may be enhanced by moistening and adhesion. The influence of surface tension between pitch based carbon fibres and different concentrations of phenolic solution for soaking on the adhesiveness has been studied in an attempt to determine the optimum conditions for strong ashesion. During the manufacture of composites the influence of compression temperature on properties has also been investigated in order to shorten the compression time and save energy.
