Zonal-landscape distribution of Calliptamus abbreviatus (Orthoptera, Acrididae)

摘要：
General regularities in zonal-landscape distribution of Calliptamus abbreviatus and its range are described for the first time. The species is the only eastern Palaearctic representative of the genus. C. abbreviatus prefers semideserts and dry steppe as C, italicus. However, its colonies are highly localizes all over the range, including areas and landscapes with optimal conditions. Distinct ecological and geographical differences of this species from its related forms are revealed.
