摘要
The paper categorizes managerial ties of SMEs and explores the link between managerial ties and firm performance using organizational innovation as mediating variable. Our sample is from Zhejiang province. The empirical analysis reveals that (1) managerial ties in general have positive impacts on firm performance; (2) technological innovation and administrative innovation have positive impacts on firm performance; (3) technological innovation has positive impact on administrative innovation; (4) technological innovation is a critical mediating variable in the managerial ties-organizational innovation-firm performance link.
