RANKS OF SOME ELLIPTIC CURVES y2 = x3 ± Apx

摘要：
We determine the ranks of elliptic curves y(2) = x(3) - 4px, y(2) = x(3) - 3px and y(2) = x(3) - 5px denoted, respectively, by E-4p, E-3p and E-5p with prime p. We compute the ranks of E-7p and E-19p which are elliptic curves y(2) = x(3) + 7px and y(2) = x(3) - 19 px with prime p and compare the results with those of previous curves. In addition, we find ranks of E-2p : y(2) = x(3) - 2px and E-4p; y(2) = x(3) - 4 px and compare the results with those of E-7p and E-19p.
