Localized corrosion of MoS2 sputtered films in atmosphere -: Measurement of corrosion current in deionized water

摘要
Localized corrosion (galvanic or crevice corrosion) of MoS2 sputtered films with various densities in atmosphere have been investigated by measurement of corrosion current in deionized water. On the galvanic corrosion, the direction of corrosion current was measured for the combination of films and SUS440C steel in deionized water. The film with 4.3g/cm(3) density was corroded by the contact with SUS440C steel. SUS440C steel was corroded by the contact with the films under 3.7g/cm(3) density. On the crevice corrosion, the direction of corrosion current was measured in oxygen concentration cell formed between films with same density separated by ceramic separator in deionized water. The film in the low oxygen concentration side was corroded.
