摘要
In response to students' lack of self-regulated learning ability and method in translation learning, as well as ignoring the value of translation products, this paper puts forward a translation self-assessment activity based on research on self-assessment, translation self-assessment criteria and social constructionism in Translation Teaching. The translation self-assessment activity is a specific method of student-centered translation self-assessment which aims at improving the initiative of self-regulated learning in translation learning. It consists of five parts: translation evaluation, feedback collection, translation revision, translation comparison, and self-reflection throughout the self-assessment activity. By this self- assessment activity, students can not only be more aware of reflecting on the translation process, but also make full use of their translation products, resulting in higher initiative of self-regulated learning in their translation learning from the metacognitive level.
