A new method for identifying the gear transmission system by the time-frequency distribution

摘要
The basic method of time-frequency analysis (TFA), which can be used to study the dynamic character of gear transmission system,is briefly introduced. The dynamic natural characteristic of the system is identified by TFA, and it is compared with both ARMA and Hilbert transform methods. It is shown that TFA method is both effective and reliable for studying the time-varying and dynamic System. And it is worthy to be spread in application.
