摘要
In this study, we suggest the new ergonomic contrast parameter. In general, The Contrast Ratio (CR) is used in viewing angle analysis in most display industry. And the CR has a linear characteristic between luminance level and the parameter. But the human eyes have a nonlinear characteristic between stimuli and the response. Therefore we needed more ergonomic analysis parameter for explaining about display contrast phenomena. And we proposed the new contrast concept so-called "HVC" (Human Visual Contrast) to reduce this problem. For this parameter, we have made an experiment with a human eyes and optical equipment. And we got the JND (Just Noticeable Difference) data through these experiments in each luminance level. And then, we developed the new contrast correlation function by using regressing equation method. This result was harmonized with Weber and Fechner's law and the Human eyes.
