摘要
The introduction of dwarf cashew clones has changed the occurrence of anthracnose, black mold and angular leaf spot, the major leaf diseases of cashews in Brazil. This work aimed to determine the variability among a population of 30 dwarf clones with regard to their reaction to these diseases and to select resistant clones. High genetic variability was detected indicating a great potential of selection for resistance. None of the commercially growing clones was resistant to black mold and angular leaf spot, but all except one was resistant to anthracnose. Five clones were significantly resistant to black mold, Il to angular leaf spot and 19 anthracnose. (C) 1999 Elsevier Science Ltd. All rights reserved.
