摘要
Facility Management is a relatively unknown term in Slovakia. Small and medium-sized businesses, for the most part, have no experience with this concept, they even do not know what facility management means. As for international and large companies in Slovakia, this term is common and is used to manage company support processes. This work points out that facility management is also important for small and medium-sized entrepreneurs and has a place in every company that wants to progress and increase its competitiveness on the market. This article wants to prove that it is not only the primary processes that are important in the company, but also the supporting ones are what can help the company grow. This study highlights the importance of facility management, its domain of operation, the ways of its introduction into the company under the conditions of the Slovak market economy, and at the same time relies on the legislative determinants of the process of applying the facility management in a Slovak company.
