摘要
The evolution of Medicine as a science and the lack of development of its professionals is paradigmatically expressed in the Spanish Golden Age in medical doctor satires. Salas Barbadillo can be considered in this sense heir of the Renaissance tradition. Even if he revisits some of its Leitmotive, his satire develops into more conservative parameters rather characteristic of the baroque era.
