摘要
A blockchain can be summarized as a decentralized ledger of all transactions across a peer-to-peer network. It is the primary technology behind the large number of diverse cryptocurrencies that are currently available in circulation. Since its introduction, blockchain technology has shown promising appli-cation prospects and attracted much attention from academia and industry. It also has become an obvious target for adversaries. In this paper, we conduct a review of the implementation of digital forensic investigation processes to blockchain and cryptocurrency. Based on our findings, w e c an c onclude t hat d igital forensics is still considered a new area for blockchain technology, especially in cryptocurrency.
