Tourism development pattern and ecological security in nature heritages - A case of Kanas nature reserve

The nature heritage has been the hotspot in the world tourism destination, which is particular in tourism development condition, pattern and ecological security problem. Compared with the domestic world nature heritages, the characteristics of the nature heritages tourism development condition are summarized, including remote tourism location, peculiar and unique tourism resource, sensitive and vulnerable landscape, extensive tourism market and peripheral features in local Culture. Taking Kanas nature reserve as an example, it is discussed that the pattern of nature heritage tourism development represent group tourism, consistent tourism line, least tourism free time, identical tourism production. Analyzing environmental monitoring, tourism questionnaire and field survey data, there are four main characteristics of tourism development influencing ecological security: partial environmental pollution, ecological destroy caused by project, constructive landscape contamination, unintentional culture impact. Then the countermeasures and suggestions are put forward to ensure tourism ecological security, such as confirming threshold of tourism ecological security, improving diversification of tourism lines and production, tourism establishment constructing on the premise of ensuring the landscape visual security, protecting local traditional culture ecological security, constructing benefit distributing and harmony mechanism. The aim of this paper is to provide guide for tourism sustainable development of other nature heritages.
