摘要
The aim of the research in this paper is to identify and model the determinants of utilization of e-travel agencies. For this purpose an empirical study is conducted with university students in Turkey. The study first considers what factors affect online shopping behavior in general, and then what travel specific factors together with online shopping behavior affect online travel purchasing. The results indicate that online shopping behavior, travel web site visit, tourism web site expectations and opinions on superiority of e-travel agencies over traditional ones determine the online travel purchasing behavior where online shopping behavior is affected by the factors Internet usage, attitudes towards purchasing online and Internet trust.
