摘要：
The global economy continued to grow during the first half of the year. Economic growth in the EU countries - the main market for Finnish forest products - was around 3%. Demand for paper in Europe increased, although below the pace of the region's economic growth. Over-supply of graphic papers continued to be a problem, despite substantial capacity closures over the past two years. In the United States demand for paper declined, and production continued to be curtailed as a result.
