摘要：

Based on a case report and a review of the literature, the authors describe the features of bilateral emphysematous pyelonephritis. This rare disease with a poor prognosis constitutes a difficult clinical diagnosis. The positive diagnosis is based on urgent computed tomography. The reference treatment is emergency nephrectomy in an intensive care context. (C) 2001 Editions scientifiques et medicales Elsevier SAS.
