摘要
We propose and experimentally demonstrate simultaneous all-optical amplification, inversion and format conversion based on self-induced nonlinear effects in a single semicondctor optcial amplifier. All these functions are verified for injected amplitude-shift keying signals with variable extinction ratios from 5 to 12 dB. (C) 2011 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
