摘要
The paper looks at the features of the application of Edgeworth-Pareto method in an effort to address the multicriteria discrete optimization problem, associated with the assessment of the security in a higher education institution's (HEI) information learning environment (ILE) and its technical means of protection (TMP). Modification to the method, based on a combination of discrete optimization of Edgeworth-Pareto and Podinovski's lexicographic method, is proposed. The algorithm of choosing the rational decision from the suggested TMP and ILE of HEI is proposed. In order to highlight a variety of Pareto-optimal solutions the vector criterion for evaluating output, which considers two conditions for the optimality as its elements: cost assessment of the analyzed TMP and its technical efficiency evaluation.
